I was at the ex site today, some time near 2:30pm a spitfire flew over the site, probably a MK2, its amazing how younger players have no idea at all what a spirfire looks like :slap:

I saved a hedgehogs life. About an hour ago I was walking my dog when I noticed what looked like a disposable coffee cup bobbing across the duel carriageway in the breeze. funny that as there is no breeze, upon closer inspection I saw it was a hedgehog with it's head stuck in a youghurt pot. I thought that as the poor beggar has just made it across 4 lanes of a duel carriageway, he deserved a chance, so picked him up by the yoghurt pot and pulled him to the side of the road and with a flick, released him from his doom. I threw the yoghurt pot in a bin 500m away. I hate Litter Louts.

Same here, although trying to find a litter bin in this town is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Last job I had was working on a campsite where picking up litter and dog ends was a never ending task, unfortunately it became second nature and on occasion I found myself subconsciously going to pick up ciggy butts from the pavement whilst walking through town to tidy the place up until my Mrs asked what the hell I was doing. :D
